Hey Lollipops,
About five or six days ago, I decided to head down to my local Rite-Aid to get a new tube of my old standby Wet n' Wild Mega Length mascara. Armed with my 50 cents off coupon and my Rite-Aid Plenti card (I was also told that there was a 40 percent off deal on all Wet n Wild products that week). I look for the slim, purple tube that enters my makeup bag every six months.

You've been good, baby. But you're sucking my wallet dry.

I see it, but I also see this chubby, lime green cylinder right next to it for $1.99 at the retail price and "paraben free" in big, eye-catching letters on its package. With the coupon, my Plenticard, and that week's deal, I was able to get this product for only 80 cents. Not even a dollar.

Nice to meet you!

Next day, I try it with my Wet n Wild Megaliner. Being an allergy sufferer and contact lens wearer, I found the product to be gentle on my eyes. It won't get your lashes to Tammy Faye proportions, it's more for a subtle, more natural look, without icky clumps or annoying smudges. The chubby wand takes a bit of getting used to, but I was able to get the hang of it. Maybe the lime green color make it easier to find at the bottom of a purse (perhaps that's why mascara is typically put into neon-colored tubes). The only thing that would deter me from making a repeat purchase of this is the shape of the tube, other than that, I guess my broke self can handle the Mega Protein just fine.
*I was not paid for this review, I purchased this product out of my own pocket.
Thanks for sharing this valuable information with us, I am very much surprised after reading this blog.
